A & M Auto Shop

Two other shops told me i needed a new clutch ($1500 job). This place fixed the clutch pedal in 30 minutes with a single wrench, made time for me at the end of the day too, totally saved my car Go here if your looking for honesty and professionalism, and they are nice guys too.

10/10 would bring my car back here again. I had a leak inside my car and they diagnosed it quickly once they got it up into the lift. They got it back to me well within when I needed it back, and gave me a better price than I expected. Best experience I have had with a mechanic, and a pleasant surprise all around.

A&M is the best auto shop in this area. I have been bringing my car here for years now, and they have always done excellent work here at very fair and straightforward prices. Having an honest mechanic like them is a rare find; Al is the absolute best, as are all the guys who work here. They always give a heads up on pricing and let you know in advance what the exact cost will be. I’ve had my car here for various issues such as fluid leaks, oil changes, rough idling, power door lock issues, windshield wiper fluid lines clogged among other issues. They are my go to spot for any car issues. And always a fast turnaround on repairs.

Turns out the cause of the smell and smoke was likely an unlikely mouse who sadly may have taken refuge under her hood on an abnormally cold night. We were not charged a dollar and I feel great knowing we have an honest and caring mechanic who we…

The best mechanic in NJ. He is always very helpful with any questions and the price is reasonable. I trust his good judgment. I always recommend this mechanic to my friends
